Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code requires certain individuals and businesses to file forms describing certain business and gift-giving relationships, if any, the filers may have with Board Members. Click here to view a copy of the law.
The forms for reporting are available on the Texas Ethics Commission website. Compliance is the responsibility of each individual, business or agent who is subject to the law's filing requirement. If you have questions about compliance, consult your own legal counsel.
