Marble Falls Texas EDC — EDUCATION:

There are several independent school districts in the Marble Falls area with the Marble Falls ISD being the largest with 3700 students in K-12 grades. There are several private, parochial schools in the area offering pre-school through high school. Nearly 83% of the areas' population are high school graduates, and nearly 22% of the regions' adult population hold a bachelor degree or higher.

Higher Education:

Central Texas College (CTC) and Texas Tech University at Highland Lakes (TTU) host a collaborative college campus in Marble Falls and Burnet leading to bachelors and masters degrees in general studies. CTC offers basic first and second year community college level coursework for the first two years, and TTU offers third and fourth year level coursework leading to a bachelors degree at the Marble Falls campus. TTU also offers graduate courses in education in graduate level certification. TTU-Highland Lake in Marble Falls is part of the Texas Hill Country University Consortium that offers degrees through several universities at facilities in selected Hill Country Communities.

Nearby in Austin, The University of Texas offers complete course offerings in numerous disciplines and in San Antonio, The University of San Antonio is also available for higher education requirements, in addition to other junior colleges and trade schools.

As a member of the Texas Tech University System, the College of Graduate Studies of Angelo State University is proud to have joined the Frank Fickett Educational Center in its higher education endeavors. ASU offers a wide range of high demand degrees and certifications to help individuals in our community grow professionally.
