At their October 7th meeting, the Marble Falls EDC Board of Directors approved a new application for Community Leverage Funds.  This begins the fourth year of the Community Leverage program, but this is the first time that a formal application has been part of the process.

The EDC has again budgeted $100,000 for the program for Fiscal Year 2015-2016.  In years past, the EDC has provided matching funds for park improvements—including the hike and bike trail, landscaping, lighting at Westside Park, and more—as well as arts projects, flood protection planning, and seed capital for the Career Assets workforce training program.
