This tradition continues as Inman’s Kitchen Bar-B-Q, a beloved Llano establishment since 1967, opens its second location in this historic spot. The new venture carries forward the Inman family’s rich barbecue heritage, offering a fresh and modern dining experience while honoring time-tested recipes.

A Legacy Rekindled

The Inman family’s journey into barbecue began in the 1960s when brothers Francis and Lester Inman started selling their grandmother’s turkey sausage recipe from a catering wagon in Llano. Their passion led to the opening of Inman’s Ranch House Bar-B-Q in Marble Falls in 1964, followed by Inman’s Kitchen Bar-B-Q in Llano three years later. After nearly six decades, the Marble Falls location closed its doors on July 6, 2023. Recognizing the community’s enduring love for quality barbecue, the Oestreich family, descendants of Lester Inman, decided to rejuvenate the location, bringing Inman’s Kitchen Bar-B-Q to Marble Falls.
