Marble Falls Among Best Small Cities in Texas to Do Business

While you may have heard about Marble Falls’s record-breaking sales tax numbers so far this year—the best 5-month period in our history—did you know that our community is among the best small cities in Texas to do business?

MARBLE FALLS LEADS IN GROWTH

Only two cities with less than 10,000 people (Roanoke and Bee Cave) have generated more sales tax through the month of May, but neither has had the same level of growth from 2012 to 2013 that Marble Falls has enjoyed.  Our 11.12% growth rate represents an addition of $278,012.33 more tax dollars in 2013 than in 2012, compared to Roanoke’s gain of $230,592.18 (5.05%) and Bee Cave’s increase of $196,505.12 (6.59%).

HIGHER PROFITS AND MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESSES IN MARBLE FALLS

The combination of growth in our local population and increased tourism activity will lead to higher profitability among our existing businesses and the creation of opportunities for new or expanding businesses that want to be a part of our community.
